Some prefer to tuck their prized clutches away beneath an arm, others choose to loosely cradle their beloved treasures, but only the bold clutch.
These oversized clutches are a perfect alternative to the renowned tote bags. They are large enough to carry most of your items, but unlike the tote it is not too big that you become either a:
- a "stuffer" and shove everything within a 3-foot radius into it (You know what I'm talking about, you shove everything into your tote and in the next 5 minutes you have the worst shoulder pain ever!) or a
- a "fisher" and carry only the necessities and then spend the extra 2 minutes finding a pen from the bottom of your bag.
"Clutchers" risk having their precious clutch slip and end tragically banged up. These situations are never pleasant, but for all fellow "clutchers" to avoid a dirty and damaged clutch the best piece of advice that can be given is: Get a grip and keep it.
Adhere to this rule of thumb and prepare to make a statement.
